Honor a Nurse for Nurses Week

They rock our baby. They hold our grandfather’s hand.
They are there from the first breath we take – until our last.
This isn’t a nine-to-five job. This is something far more important.

At Beaumont, we don’t think of them as nurses. To us, they are heroes.

Did you know that nursing is the most trusted profession? Nurses touch your heart and soul. They are passionate and compassionate.

Perhaps you’ve been helped by an outstanding nurse who went the extra mile to provide compassionate care to you or a loved one. Perhaps you work with a nurse -- a friend, coworker or mentor. If so, please consider a gift in his or her honor in recognition of National Nurses Week, May 6-12, 2012.

Your gift in honor of a Beaumont nurse or team of nurses on a particular unit will support nursing education at Beaumont. It will allow them to discover best practices in nursing excellence, attend quality conferences where they can network and learn from others, and keep up-to-date on the latest innovations in technology to enhance patient care.

You may also wish to write a personal note of appreciation. Simply type a note in the “Note of Appreciation” section of the giving form and we’ll be sure to forward your thoughtful message to your honored nurse.
