Holiday Giving

Help someone go home for the holidays

Your gift at this special time of year can help a patient in need with vital medication. Donate now.

Imagine being sick and having to choose between feeding your family and affording the medicine you need.  One of our patients was recently faced with making that difficult choice.

Suffering from migraines and seizures that are only controlled by medication, “Dan” lost his job in May, along with his income and his insurance – forcing him to choose between buying his medicine and feeding his four children.

Dan made the decision to feed his children, despite the personal risk.  When his seizures returned and he came to Beaumont for help, we turned to our Patient Resource Fund to help him.

Beaumont’s Patient Resource Fund provides medicine and other medical necessities to patients who have no insurance or means to help themselves. Your gift could help in the following ways:

  • $50 helps to purchase critical medicine for a child whose family is without prescription coverage
  • $100 helps provide transportation so that wheelchair-bound patients can be transported to and from the hospital
  • $250 provides one month’s supply of life-saving oxygen for a person with congestive heart failure
  • $500 gives a post-surgical patient a two-week supply of blood thinner medication
  • $1,000 supplies one month of cardiac medications for an elderly patient

Will you help? Your gift of health care this holiday season can bring joy to a neighbor in need.
